a. Sgraffito - a typical element of Renaissance decoration, was created by scratching into the still wet top layer of plaster. In Slavonice, we may find simple letter sgraffito but also complicated figural sgraffito. Biblical characters are looking at us from some facades, created according to a famous contemporary engraving. Majestic noblemen and other great men of that time are looking at us from some others. You can also find scenes of everyday life - nursing sows.
